I was going to do this post a day or 2 ago and got side tracked. I changed the date to today but it posted under everything else for today. No biggie, I just thought some people might wonder why it happened. The truck driver is nutty.

About two years ago this sort of incident happened on the bridge that goes across Lake Texoma (a flood control reservoir in Southern Oklahoma). The bridge is partly pier and flat road with an arch suspension portion in the center. Five or six cross members of the arch were broken with two completely missing, probably at the bottom of the lake. Don't know if the perpetrator was caught or cited but I have wondered how the driver could have missed the lurching and shaking and noise associated with the multiple impacts. We're talking lots of tons of steel involved.
