Upside-Down Jeans Dress

Turn old jeans upside-down and make them into a dress. I don't see why this idea wouldn't work for any old pair of pants. Though I've never seen anyone wearing a dress like that.

For those who aren't into DIY, ShopBop.com used to sell a similar dress (but using two upside-down jeans instead of one) for $445.

Guys will do everything to make sure women can't use the pockets on their clothes.

@Yudith: I guarantee you it was a woman who did this, not a man. The crab pot mentality is strong in you girls.

@Yudith -- They're not necessarily entirely useless. I (a guy) had a pair of pants (late 60s/early 70s) with back pockets that looked like that. One had a small button at the point, so you could easily get your comb out with your fingers but had to unbutton it to extract your handkerchief. The other side was two overlapping pockets, which one you went into determined by which side of the point you chose. (One idea floated around was to keep your wallet in one and a fake in the other, so it would appear natural when you pull out the dummy to hand over during a mugging.)

Those pockets probably would have worked well for someone with dainty hands. For me, whose hands are great globs, it was always awkward. So I'd rate them conditionally practical.

Definitely attention getting if nothing else. Even more so if you don’t wear anything underneath.
