Vogue Picture Records

For a brief time, one company produced records with illustrations imprinted into the vinyl.

Many moons ago, an acquaintance of mine had a picture disc of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" soundtrack showing Tim Curry in all his transvestite glory as Doctor Frank N. Furter. Unfortunately as an unemployed college student I couldn't afford one. A quick check on Amazon has a listing of used for about 50 bucks and new for about 90 bucks. I wonder what became of that album?

The only out of the ordinary album I have is a live recording of DEVO pressed on clear red vinyl.

One company? They weren't all that uncommon.

Quite true, Richard Bos, so awkward phrasing on my part!
