Was The Wiener Insured?

That's the question Wisconsin homeowner Nick Krupp must be asking. Friday morning the driver of Wienermobile was attempting to turn around in Mr. Krupp's driveway. The driver didn't manage to put the thing in reverse before hitting the gas to back up. The Wienermobile shot forward hitting the deck and becoming lodged under it. The foundation of the home was cracked and the Wienermobile was moderately damaged. And yes, according to an Oscar Mayer spokesperson, insurance will cover the damage. If this "cracked the foundation" then I think Mr. Krupp would well advised to go buy a house that is more wienerproof.

Nick really needs to be more gentle and apply a twisting motion when going for a tight fit like that... Some oil or something might've helped things a bit, too.
