Watch Bird

A robber in the UK learned that watch dogs aren't the only animals to worry about when committing a B&E. Upon breaking into a pet shop the robber was attacked and driven away by a Sun Conure. Sun Conures are beautiful parrot type birds who, apparently, are quite territorial. Odds are quite good that the culprit will be caught as the bird collected DNA with it's beak, and the intruder left a trail of blood on his way out. OUCH!

my mom had one of these birds, and they are very smart. they are protective of their owner, who they connect with, and can be aggressive. that birds loved my mom dearly and used to cuddle up to her while she watched tv. she had to give it away unfortunately, but gave it to another older lady and Connie (the bird) got used to the other woman and is doing well. as you can see above, they are quite beautiful too.
