A New Standard Of Ridiculousness In The UK

image
Fitting that the UK has been referred to as the Nanny State because the over protective idiocy has filtered down to the playground. There is now a 'No best friend' policy at some elementary schools. This is to protect all the little snowflakes from the trauma of have a falling out with their best friend. If this is the way things continue to go then the next generation will be even less able to deal with the downturns in life than the ones now. Reality is rough and painful sometimes but we all have to experience it.

Well at least in the UK, you can't just shoot someone, claim it was self-defence and the police just let you go, without any further investigations. That seems to happen only in America.

As the saying goes, "The jury is still out" on that one. There is a lot of racial hype being put forth by known racist groups and individuals all pointing fingers in one direction with no proof or evidence to back up their accusations.

I don't know what happened that night and we may never know, exactly, what happened that night but opportunistic use of the event to promote racism isn't right!

No it isnĀ“t. But killing someone "in self defense" because they were armed with a bag of Skittles seems to be.

This guy wasn't even carrying skittles, just a couple of nuts.

A Challenger Appears...

"The latest policy at Matawan-Aberdeen Middle School has become a cause of concern for some parents, CBS New York reports.

A ban on hugging in the school was issued by the school's principal last week via loudspeaker following what was seen as an excessive amount of hugging and physical contact by sixth and eighth graders, CBS reported. The district says Matawan-Aberdeen Middle School Principal Tyler Blackmore made an announcement that students were in a "no hugging school" following some "incidents of unsuitable, physical interactions."

School Superintendent David Healy says the district has the responsibility to teach children about appropriate interactions."

Boring, we get that kind of stuff happening here on an all too regular basis.

Last I heard the school board and the principal have stated that it was all a mistake, the parents OBVIOUSLY didn't correctly understand the message. 🐍
