A friend of mine's father carried a mink thingy he used as a toothpick. Plenty for sale on eBay.

Back when I lived in Alaska it was very common for people to have a walrus or seal bone of this type around the house for a conversation-good luck piece!,the native word for it is "oosik"
pronounced EWWSICK! we would tell the tourists to kiss them for "good luck" then inform them what it was! 😊
