American Airlines That "friendly well trained" thing has gone south!

REALLY!?!? The big thing to see in Memphis in '33 was "Darkies loading cotton"! I also noticed MANY remarks about the overweight passenger, His being referred to as "Cargo" and "Our Fat passenger". Times have changed so much! And in so many ways, Most of us have in our pocket a better guidance system,(GPS)Than those pilots could even DREAM about!

Fly American - Now that American Airlines is about to merge with "Useless" Airways, maybe we'll really wax nostalgic for the good ole days.

Stars - Probably a screen test for the studio brass. I have a lot of old movies and a good memory for names of supporting casts, but I can't recall any of those actresses in any A or B movie.

Chrysler - Now that Chrysler is owned by FIAT, maybe we'll wax nostalgic for the good ole days.

My mom was born in 1933. I guess that would make it a very important year for me!
