Raccoon Roadkill Gets Makeover

Be careful in Philadelphia. If you get run down, the road crew may decide you need another coat.

It may be the new look for someone on the road.

Here's the link about the "yellow raccoon road".

The guy whose job it is to remove road-kill was sick that day and the union won't allow the driver or paint-starter-thingie operator do his work.

Brilliant answer Danny!

Who in the @#$@# is "Danny"? You been sneaking around behind our (BD included here) backs?

Just a miniRANT. The reporter flicked it up again. The lead vehical is to warn oncoming traffic, not to pick up dead rodents. I am sure the tax payer would enjoy having the painting crew stop every 5 minutes to say a a eulogy over every roadkill they see!

It's Saturday, BMN, don't start dragging perfectly logical facts out on the weekend. It's bad enough when we have to put up with them Mon-Fri so, a couple of days off are what the doctor ordered. 😉

Oops! Sorry Expat, I had a minor brain fart there honey. I had just been talking about someone else I know and must have typed his name accidentally. You are definitely special enough to remember, my bad.
BMN, really, you can not tell me they are supposed to paint over roadkill. That is just ridiculous. Nobody said have a freakin' funeral and bury it, but scoop it up and throw it off the road to decompose. We all enjoy every kind of road project that blocks traffic and makes it hard to get around equally I am sure. But, that has never stopped any of it before. If what you are saying is true then there should be painted roadkill everywhere.

Patch crews stop every few feet to fix holes how is this different? It is a part of road maintenance. Tax payers are paying to have all manner of road maintenance done.
