Roller Coaster Hazard

image
A boy was riding the Kingda Ka roller coaster at Six Flags in New Jersey when suddenly, SMACK right in the kisser. A bird hit him in the face. It seems he was not badly hurt, thank goodness. The bird, unfortunately, was not so lucky. RIP little bird.

That particular danger on a roller coaster would never have even occurred to me. The kid is lucky though, if the coaster had been at top speed (128mph) he could have been hurt much worse.

Sue the park, the operator of the ride, the guy that designed it, the company that built it, the project manager, the steel company, 6 Flags, N.J., the National Audubon Society and P.E.T.A..

This happened a while back to Fabio, the male 'supermodel'. Google 'fabio roller coaster'. Looks like a trend. Birds get killed flying into skyscrapers, antenna towers and guylines, and now it's faces. I think I'll go buy a hockey mask.

this sort of thing happens all the time. clearly the people reporting this stuff haven't worked at an amusement park.

Okay. Was the kid in the front car?? Was Fabio? Because really the front seat of the front car is the only way to REALLY ride a roller coaster..... 😊

First we got rid of DDT. Now there are just too many birds around.
