Second Annual Bacon Day

Presented at the second annual Bacon Day, an AT-AT (first picture) made of bacon. An AT-AT is the giant walking war machine used by the empire in the last of the original 3 Star Wars films. The builder said last year he didn't have time for such an involved project so he made a BA-K-47 (second picture) from bacon. I wonder what he'll make next year, the Enterprise NCC-1701-D?

its a foam structure covered in bacon, but still a lot of effort. he said it took 21 hours and 40 pounds of bacon to build.

Seriously though, that is really cool.

And the AT-ATs were in both Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back.

i'm not as familiar with star wars (had to look up at-at) but star trek is another story as you can see by the last line above. for those who don't know the 1701-D is picard's enterprise. we are geek brethren sweetie. 😊
