If women and girls wearing short skirts meant less rainfall due to too much exposed skin, logically wouldn't them being "stripped in public" as mentioned in the first article mean no rainfall?

But then again, I guess logic was already out the window in this situation.

Notice that athe dates given here are twenty five years ago. If anything, attitudes in that part of the world have not improved in the least.

There is supposed to be a cause and effect relation between the state of the economy and skirt length. But the economy is the cause! (In some cases though, skirt length may affect the bottom line.)

If this was true, how do they explain that northern countries, where women walk around in short skirts and bikinis, have lots of rain while Sahel and Arab countries, where women are covered from head to toes in cloth, have little to no rain? Shouldn't it be the opposite?
