Two Gordon Ramsays

A clipping from an old Australian newspaper (via Weird History — unfortunately no date provided for the clipping, but evidently from the early 20th Century).

There's probably an entire line of foul-mouthed Gordon Ramsays stretching back through history, with the current celebrity one simply the most recent manifestation.

Damn his mother for marrying into such a family! And then allowing someone to name him 'Gordon'!

Sounds like a "To Tell The Truth" episode - "Will the real Gordon Ramsay please stand up?"

I believe the chef uses bad language too. Not a surprise, you'd be stunned if you knew heard some of the stuff that is said in the kitchen at fine dining restaurants.

True, but he exaggerates. It's one thing for the chef to swear at a stupid sub who sets his dishcloth on fire; that's deserved, because a professional kitchen is a risky environment at the best of times and the staff needs to learn to pay attention. It's quite another thing for Gordon Fucking Ramsay to swear at anyone and everyone for any or preferably no reason whatsoever. That's just his pathological personality, nothing to do with culinary professionalism at all.
