Your Daily Loser & Jury Duty for May 7th

Your Daily Loser - Ishmael Makone of Johannesburg, South Africa, paid the ultimate price for his stupidity. Apparently noone bothered to warn Makone that it's a really bad idea to be underneath the structure you're trying to tear down, even though the article claims dozens of witnesses had been watching him for days and worrying about his safety.

Jury Duty - This has to be the happiest drunk guy to ever end up in jail. Chris Carter of St. Petersburg, Florida, doesn't seem to mind that he was cited for violating his parole, driving under the influence and holding an open container of alcohol. The Mugshot.

Daily Loser - Next time you feel like complaining about building codes, think about this.

Jury Duty - Guilty, but very charismatic.

Daily Loser - Obviously, the neighbours weren't too concerned about his safety... at least, not worried enough to actually do something about it.

Jury Duty - Let's see if he's still smiling when the buzz wears off.

Jury Duty -

Seriously, I live in Pinellas County. Anytime you're bored at work, or need a pick me up, just browse the Sheriff's inmate page. Just pick a random date. You'll be feeling better in no time. 😛

I agree patty. How could you watch it and not go over and say something?
Posted by Nethie on 05/07/09 at 07:53 PM
@Skitt - Sadly no, as much as I occaisionally lament that I never did a night in jail like all the cool kids in those 80's comedy movies. Then again, I think perhaps sometimes the movie version is not entirely accurate...

Daily Loser Gardener Raymond Kubayi said: “I had a feeling something like this would happen sooner or later … but I never thought it would be today.”

-- um, so okay, if it had happened tomorrow that would have been different? Alas, could it have happened tomorrow? It must happen "today" because right now is "today" and not "yesterday" nor "tomorrow"
