Aluminum Bathing Suit

Continuing the WU investigation of unusual bathing suits, here's an aluminum bathing suit from 1966, modeled by Donyale Luna. It was featured in the French film Who Are You, Polly Maggoo? (Qui êtes vous, Polly Maggoo?) which wikipedia describes as "a satirical art house movie spoofing the fashion world and its excesses."

I thought, maybe, the angle/lighting in the shot was rendering the model as some kind of freak but, no such luck, she was one spooky lookin' female?

BTW, I've never seen an "Art House" film worth watching.
