An Icicle That Looks Like A Bird
It must have been a slow news day when this photo ran in papers back in 1959. The icicle that looks like a bird was found outside a Detroit home.

I think people were more easily amused. After all, this was the era of marionettes with their own television shows. Try that today.

@KDP: I'm not sure but I think BBC still has puppet shows on TV but, thankfully, The Muppets are gone and Big Bird is under serious attack.
