Faux Nessie

Someone put a sculpture of the Loch Ness monster in the Chippewa River near Eau Claire , Wisconsin. Unfortunately the Department of Natural Resources is not amused and wants it gone. The anonymous artist has promised, in an unsigned letter to the local paper, to remove faux Nessie and the area Menard's store has offered a home for her. So all's well that ends well, hopefully.

You'd think Eau Claire city officials would find this to be a nifty tourist attraction, but not so I guess.

Poor Nessie, she could come to my house, but pond's not big enough. Hope she enjoys it by the store 🙄
