Of course, with more than fifty years of other television entertainment programs that fared no better than one showing, "Happy" isn't so bad. My recollection of worst ever is probably the "Turn-On" debacle from 1969, where ABC tried to imitate the success of "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In" and failed miserably.

They forgot to mention the sit com category of Cash in with as little effort as possible, also know as Just phone it in and collect the check. There have been lots and lots of shows like that. Also be just good enough to hit the magic number, 100 episodes, to rake in the syndication cash.
