jackie poplar

"Pests, pests, we need to get rid of these pests!"
That was Flint (Mich.) city Councilwoman Jackie Poplar, while she was spraying a can of Raid either right at two of her most annoying Council-meeting critics (according to them, anyway, including one woman whose face swelled up in allergic reaction) or "at [actual] bugs" that she alone had somehow seen crawling around the meeting room. Police are investigating the alleged assault. Flint Journal

You know, if this were higher up the foo chain of politics I'd say it was about normal but seeings how it just at the municipal level I'd bet the woman is off her nut!
A puppy short of a litter.
Elevator not going to the penthouse any more.
An ant short of a pic-nic.
A beer short of a six-pack.
etc.

Well sure... who doesn't show up at a city council meeting with a can of Raid, just in case there are bugs?

I too am a big fan of "crackhead" - this is one of my cat's common nicknames. She's a tiny little freak but very entertaining. Coincidentally she too has a insurmountable need to kill every bug within a 20 foot radius of her.
