Golfer hit in head with ball, loses mind
Paul Sanchez, 20 [CORRECTION: age 67], an "occasional" golfer, filed a lawsuit against a golf course in Manchester, N.H., for a 2006 incident in which his tee shot hit a yard marker and ricocheted into his right eye. Sanchez said they should have warned him that could happen. Seriously. Union Leader

Fore! Does that constitute a legal warning?

First, kill all the lawyers! This has got to be in answer to one of those Do you need a lawyer? commercials. The guy lives at 20 Country Club Drive which is right across from a country club. Seems like common knowledge should come into the picture sometime soon.

What kind of warning did he want, "Warning, there is a chance balls might be coming towards your face"? Some might find that a bit offensive, or too Andrew Dice Clay. Oh!

And if you are in Florida,
Do not go near water for risk getting eaten by alligators.

Im going to agree with the guy on this. A ball that hits a yardage marker shouldnt be able to bounce back at you. Its not possible. Either he should win or he made the story up.

Several years ago, a friend, who had just retired, was playing a round of golf when a lightening storm started. 2 of the guys he was with jumped into the cart while he and another guy took shelter under a tree. Yeah, the tree was struck by lightening and my friend died. Now, I'm thinking that his family should have sued the golf course for having trees.
