The Matter Store

The Matter Store offers some great items for sale. For instance, what about this concrete doorstop. $3500 may seem a bit pricey for it, until you learn that it was cast in "an original Alvar Aalto Savoy vase" which was then smashed.

Similarly, $1900 may seem expensive for an old rusty stool, but this stool was "found in a duck blind in Northern Ontario" and then coated in aluminum.

Needless to say, they don't have a "gifts for $10 and under" section.

I guess you need to lack grey matter to buy from the Matter Store.

The wing keychain is under $10.

Big Gary - Yeah the shoplifter bag is funny but after spending $35 on a bag for shopping, when stores usually have either buggies or carry baskets, you may need to resort to shoplifting. Then you'll end up on the Smoking Gun, and hence WU, for shoplifting with a bag that says shoplifter.

The Beautifully Broken Vase ... "Beautifully Broken is a collection of cracked vases that have been mended with epoxy to highlight their damage." And for only the low low price of $675.00

Excuse me while I run down the dollar store, buy one of their vases, break it, glue it back together and sell it online for 500 bucks ...

i'm relatively sure your stool should never be rusty, see a doctor soon.

who's alvar aalto?

'there's a sucker born every minute' and 'a fool and his money are soon parted' fit here i think. 😝
