My Great Grandmother had a rooster that acted more like a dog than a chicken. He would come when called, follow her around and even beg to be picked up and petted!

Oh, yea, did I also mention that he put a utilities worker in the hospital? Seems like the dude kicked the rooster when he entered the yard and got his leg opened up from ankle to knee by a well placed spur.

Note to N.Americans and city dwellers in general: Barnyard fowl (Primarily geese) have been used as burglar alarms and "watch dogs" for centuries.
