two seniors

Two proud seniors, speaking sass to power
Edna Jester, 89, confiscated a kid's football that came into her yard, and she's absolutely not giving it back just yet, even though police asked nicely. And another lady of almost that certain age said she's ready for jail rather than pay to convert one of her bedrooms back to a garage (to comply with zoning laws that were broken by the previous owner 30 yrs ago). (Uh, Question: The zoning enforcement people say they can't let her slide because, after all, this is a "safety" issue, but isn't 30 yrs enough time to judge whether something really is unsafe?) If the garage hasn't collapsed in 30 years then I would think it would be alright at least through the rest of the old lady's life. The woman is 83 with health problems. Let her live out the rest of her life in garage/bedroom. I can't stand code enforcement officers. They're a bunch of jerks who think they know everything even though they can't usually seem to tell their ass from a hole in the ground.

I went over to http://wcpo.com and watched the video. Crotchety old broad for sure but I'm not sure we're getting the whole story. There seems to be some neighbors that got some video "footage" but I couldn't find it anywhere. I'll hold my opinion. Anyone who makes it to 90 and lives alone deserves that much and more.

30 years and they're just NOW finding fault?? Sounds like counter suit time for the city allowing this women to be placed in danger for all the DECADES! Sick'em Super-Shyster!

I wish it was possible to chase down previous homeowners because I'd find whoever owned my house and repeatedly bash their skulls in for all the stupid things they did to my house.
