...pick 'em up and throw 'em! In the town of Beaver, Oklahoma, at the Beaver county fair grounds there is a Cow Chip Throwing Contest every year. It's over for this year, but here is the entry form if anyone is interested for next year.

The pioneers crossing the prairie called them "fire wood".

When we were playing softball on a summer evening we called one of them 2ed base! "Slide!!!" wasn't on the menu however.

i've heard of burning them. question, what was 1st, 3rd, and home plate? :lol: (btw, using the word menu above was a particularly bad choice. :sick: )
