WHO R8X

WHO R8X, how would you read that on a license plate? One Missouri woman felt it was degrading to drive around with the plate which she read as 'whore times eight'. She found it even more insulting with the state motto above it 'The show me state'. Miossouri DMV disagreed and said she would have to pay for a replacement plate until a local TV station got involved. I wonder what her new plate says.

I read 'who r8x' as 'who rates?'
She should probably be charged with public indecency for exposing such a dirty mind in public! 😊

I read it as W, H, O, R, 8, X. But then my mind isn't in the gutter like the owner's clearly is.

GEEZUS has, obviously, visited this woman and shown here the truth behind Satan's nefarious plot to corrupt the minds of the unsuspecting.

Ok.. what in the @#$@$ is in this McD's coffee this AM??? :ahhh:

New plate should read: IMS TPD.

The last new plate my brother received for his car had the number 666 as part of the identifier. When asked if he wanted another plate he refused. Said that he could label it the "Devil's Car."

I read it as "Who Rocks", but then, I'm a flaming Whovian just come down off of the high of a week-long Doctor Who binge. :-D I guess license plates are sort of a Rorschach test -- they reveal your subconscious!

Nice to know that I'm not the only one who connected that license plate to the Doctor instead to other, ummmm interesting, people/occupations.

I read who rakes? But as a fellow Whovian I love Who Rocks!

I see it as WHO rate(s) TEN. On the tenth wedding anniversery, I could see this as the plate on the gift car.

Despite being a Doctor Who fan I thought of the rock group first. Everyone (especially my wife) thinks I have a dirty mind but I never would have come up with 'whore'.

I had one that said SCM (with some numbers). I asked all my friends to try to think of something ELSE it could stand for.... One of them came up with "Sexy, Cute, & Masculine" -- that was my favorite -- but no matter what we came up with for alternatives, it still looked like it said SCUM. :(
