I used to do bacon curls but putting pounds of it on the ends of the bars got really expensive so I changed to the standard metal weights. 😝

When butchering in Illinois this stuff is called "cracklins" and it is produced when rendering the fat. After they're drained out of the melted fat they're steaming hot but many a brunt fingers are testament to just how good they are. Can these be that good?????

Once they've cooled (seriously nasty in this state) they're stored and used to augment the dog's feed.
