Gorf

Is it music? Is it video art? Is it both? Is it neither?

I'm going with the last statement.

I remember the video game GORF. It's on MAME. Just loaded it up for reminiscing.

"GORF" spelled backwards is "FROG" and that makes me think of the previous post and what I said about 'art films'.

GORF is also a sound made while addressing the Great God Porcelain.

There are a number of elements in here that click:

1) The name GORF, as mentioned by BD, was one of the first video games I bought for my old Commodore computer.
2) The sound track reminds me of parts of Pink Floyd's "Meddle" and Lennon's "Revolution 9."
3) The visuals look like parts of the psychedelic trip scenes from "Casino Royale" (The All-Star version from about 1969.) and the visualizer function in Windows Media Player.

In all, a real hodgepodge put together by the artist. I'd vote this as a total package fo video and sonic art.
