William Levitt is better known as the developer of Levittown, NY, Levittown, PA, and Levittown, PR (I just heard about this one in a report on the devastation of Puerto Rico by Hurricane Maria). He's also the real estate developer with the sex yacht mentioned by Donald Trump in his speech to the Boy Scouts.

As always, when a post sends me to an old magazine page, I scroll a few pages ahead of and back of the article. On page 52 is an ad for piston rings, but what got my attention was the ash tray with figurine offered for just a quarter. A "wonderful bargain" indeed!
