1963 was a more innocent time, when the idea of young boys renting themselves out to strangers in Central Park wasn't anything to be concerned about.

This was back when kids were ENCOURAGED and EXPECTED to go forth and earn a buck or two.

Similar to a more recent story of handicapped individuals renting themselves out, in order to allow the rentee to take cuts in line at Disney World.

This is also back when you had roving packs of children free and able to go out and earn a buck or two for themselves instead of being forced to bum a ride everywhere. If a few 8 year olds are at the park themselves nowadays the police would probably be called cause of child endangerment.

Try putting rent boys in your search engine (NO DON'T! ) it means something entirely different now. :gulp:
FBS, that has already happened a few times, police and CPS in fact.
