After all the warnings against things that would destroy civilization - comic books, moving picture palaces, the automobile, the hula hoop (I'm sure some one railed against it at one time) - I'm convinced that religion poses a greater danger than all combined.

And yet, KDP, we've had religion for literally hundreds of times as long as any of those, and it hasn't destroyed civilisation yet - quite the contrary, it has created it.
