Alien-Inspired Art

I think it makes sense for an artist to have some kind of schtick to differentiate themselves from the crowd. And Lloyd Canning's schtick is that he says his paintings are inspired by images that extraterrestrials project into his brain. According to him, this image projection began after the aliens first abducted him in 2005. The Mirror has more details. Also check out Canning's website.

He reminds me of Flora Marian Spore, the 1920s artist who claimed her paintings were inspired by ghosts. (See Paul's post from back in 2012.)

The first one is reminiscent of the terminator the second looks like a standard alien rendering.

Better than some of the 'main stream' stuff. At least you can see that there's talent being exhibited over a randomness of colors being flung onto a canvas.

Of course it is better than those apes-throwing-feces-on-a-canvas type 'artworks' we so often see. Just not original enough to have come from an alien mind meld in my opinion honey.

Ever notice that aliens never bother to abduct people with brains far above average - phi beta kappa members? people with science degrees? mathematicians? rocket scientists or atomic scientists? Mensa members?

Oh... they do but the really SMART people know enough to keep their mouths shut and use the information that was placed into their charge to make life here on Sol3 tastier more better.

My home, the Florida Everglades has always been a very popular alien abduction point. People would come and wait around during various real or imagery celestial events to be abducted. Close comets are a favorite. Special secret signal devices, tinfoil garments and hats, secret writing on the pavement. Sex in the bushes with other aspiring abductees. Quite the show. There was a very high probability that a person would be abducted by the massive clouds of hungry mosquitos. Hence the mysterious rashes on victims attributed to alien ray scans. A few over-enthusiastic seekers were abducted by local Rangers and left at mental health facilities (disguised mother ships) for scanning, interrogation and probes by blue and green dressed aliens. Beam me up now Scotty!
