Ants Nest Filled with Cement and Excavated

According to this cool video, ants built the equivalent of the Great Wall of China by moving tons of dirt. After filling the ant hill with cement it is excavated. Though the screen shot looks like a giant spider, the colored blobs are people standing in the structure.

Now if I could just find out what this clip was from and where the colony is -- I would love to visit it.

Not as much as the ants did, I imagine.

I agree, their fate was cast in concrete. It was a hard way to go but it was their paths that did them in.

True, but it was a good life on aggregate.

@Patty, I just re-watched w/ my grandson and there are ants in the concrete they were shooting in under pressure. And I don't think they could have used an abandoned ant hill. That complex of a structure would have needed constant maintenance to keep the tunnels clear. If the ants had gone for what ever reason, the tunnels would have collapsed.

BTW, the grandson thought it was totally kewl
