Are you an extraterrestrial?

Working off the theory that millions of years ago extraterrestrials spliced alien code into our DNA, the NY Daily News offers a list of 11 signs that suggest you might be part extraterrestrial (because apparently some of us have more of the alien code than others).

  • Have had paranormal experiences
  • Feeling homesick
  • Believing you have a mission
  • Highly sensitive
  • Don't fit in with mainstream society
  • Animals and children are drawn to you
  • Vivid dreams
  • Telepathic abilities
  • Age well
  • High pitched ringing in ears
  • A natural understanding of the universe

Complicating things is that there are different species of ETs (Pleiadians, Arcturians, etc.). So you may have more qualities of one ET species than another.

And what about if you have pointed ears like Spock (aka a Darwin's Point)? Because one of my ears is like that, and I'd like to think that means I have a bit of Vulcan blood in me.

Also check out the list on a similar theme I posted back in 2008: "Have you been abducted by aliens?"

I don't know about people, but I'm convinced that cats are not of this world.

The aliens would only need to witness one Star Trek fan convention and they'd quarantine Earth for a million years. "Freak show" doesn't even begin to cover it.

I second that, Nonny Mouse.

I have attended several science fiction conventions. At one, I got on a crowded elevator with lots of attendees who were in various costumes. Some of them quite creative. Some of them quite revealing. The last person to get on was a woman in a business suit. As she got out at her floor, she turned around and yelled "you people are all sick freaks!"

Alex, why are you outing us!?! Isn't this a site built and maintained by aliens, for aliens?

Or maybe I'm on the wrong site.

Hey, I used to have to register with the Feds as an alien...

The science fiction conventions I went to in the 1980s were great fun! There's nothing like having 200 people, all with IQs over 135, suddenly free of having to deal with mundanes. Two out-of-tune guitars, sixteen kazoos, and a rousing chorus of "Banned From Argo" in a room so filled with smoke you couldn't see the walls is an experience you won't forget!

Of course, they were geared towards the literature, not tv or movies. A couple had a costume night, but that was only for dweebs.

Sicker freakiness is perpetrated by people in business suit every single day than was ever thought of by science fiction.

I have 8 of these characteristics. I also suspect the earth is already under a quarantine. I just hope they don't decide to send in an extermination service.

Okay, time for weird theories from Greg, a series designed to enlighten the Smarter Terrans:

We are not from Earth originally. We came from Mars. We basically destroyed it with our greed for more. Thoughts came to us as we peered at the "other" green planet in the solar system. We built ships and headed to Earth. We killed the dinosaurs. Then we conveniently forgot it, so that we'd think we were indigenous to THIS planet and maybe someday, we'd find a way back to Mars and discover there was an ancient civilization there. We are ALL aliens.

Tune in next time, when Greg reveals we are really JUST a brain, and the body it controls is a complicated machine built by 'aliens'.

Cockroaches are just aliens in disguise They know everything and go anywhere they wish. So when we destroy ourselves they will be ready to take over.

those dissin' on sci-fi cons have never been to Dragon*Con or Comic Con. Thousands go and party hard. It's not for nerds any more.

You're wrong, Imperial.

Those partying hard are the people you jocks call "nerds".
