Canned Roadkill

1990: T. Roy Gentry began selling cans that he advertised as containing possum run over by a cattle truck 2 miles south of Ozark, Missouri. The cans actually contained potted meat from a local grocery store.

My Grandfather actually bought a bunch of these when I was a kid and we ate them. They were basically Spam in a can. But man were they tasty!

There is or was a gag gift that claims to be canned slugs.

My late father had the possum and the slugs. I think my sister may have them yet.
