Expat, you are just not down with the scene!

It was the senseless violence that did me in. I just couldn't watch any more.

Oh, well... I'll play a few hours of Serious Sam to take my mind off of it all.

I hear you, Expat. I can't watch modern movies with their ultra-realistic gore. But this seemed so crude and hokey. Although of course, the essence of the violence remains the same.

I hate the newer/newest horror movies. They are all about the gore and not the scary stories like in the old times. It's fun to be scared but now I'm just grossed out. Patty loves them though it seems. From talking to her today she wants one about her subby suffering a lawn mower/need to mow it death. Hehehehehe .. she's gonna be on me like a weed in a springtime lawn I mentioned this.

P.S. I still like my ladies with a "well mowed lawn" down below.

Oh quit picking on my hubby, he is a great guy but he hates to mow. As far as the movies go I loved watching the old Vincent Price movies as a kid and I still like horror flicks. The horror in them is overdone and cartoonistic. It is realistic tragedy I can not stand. Movies like 'Ghost' 'Steel Magnolias' and 'Premonition', just to name a few either piss me off or leave me depressed so I avoid them. The movie above is filled with fake violence and not as disturbing as the stuff today.
