This book by Philip Parker seems like a bargain for only $795, but since it doesn't discuss letter handling machines, I'm going to have to pass:

Patty, you beat me to the punch! I was just about ready to click on "send it NOW" when I notice that it was only paperback. :( What a shame! It would have made one hell of a conversation piece at the local nut house the wife would have committed me to.

That NYTimes article is essential for understanding this book and, frankly, what an asshole the "author," Phillip M. Parker, must be for passing this data-dump off as original work.
