image

I am just going to go out on a limb and say that this is the best goddamn mousetrap ever invented!

It needs a voice recording that plays "Take that, you dirty rat!"

Well, if we're going to talk them to death then why not use this "Rat writ, writ for a rat." by The Duke?

Of course, patty, the voice would have to be that of James Cagney.

Why the watch? If you can sleep through a gun going off in your house, you have bigger problems than not knowing when a rat was killed.

My favorite mousetrap was "sold" by JS&A. There was a platform with an electrical grid. A center pole supported a dome and held the bait. When the mouse tried to take the bait, the dome would fall, trapping them, and then they'd be electrocuted (it was an option to only trap them). I put "sold" in quotes because it was a huge marketing campaign and really promoted the marketing group, but I read they never actually sold any! (Sadly my Google-Fu is inadequate to finding an image of said device.)

I want one of those for my back yard. Of course, the neighbors might wonder about the intermittent gun shots.
