Oh yeah! American Broadcasting Company's "Movie Of The Week." Most of these were dreck, with washed up actors, C list personalities, and bad plotting. Unfortunately you were held captive to just the three networks, so one had little choice but to watch.

I just reread that and realize that the statement ,except for the three network part, can apply to most modern programming. I dropped my satellite service two years ago, do not buy cable service, and have not regretted it.

KDP: Little choice but to watch? But I have a couple of dozen other choices sitting around the room... and that's just the ones I haven't read yet.
