There are common elements here that will reappear in following years. Jim Jones' "People's Temple," Heaven's Gate, Est, ... The list just goes on and on. And in these cases most of these people are the dregs and social cast off from elsewhere drifting to California where they reinvent themselves. Although Pencovic doesn't quite fit the profile, he is just nutty enough for his role.
