When does he start taking up collections?

Can I get an "AMEN"?

I'm highly impressed by this because I have been following the studies, mostly in quantum physics, that seem to indicate that consciousness not only precedes physical existence, and exists after the physical ends, but can alter the physical experience in many ways. I actually may end up following this experiment further, because it is very much in my special interests.

So they are zapping a small part of the brain with the electromagnetic power of a 'hair dryer' (or a small microwave oven!) in a sensory deprivation environment and they get (wait for it...) HaLlUcInAtIoNs!
Back in the 60's we could do that with a pill.

"OH MY GOD! IT'S GOD! I SEE GOD!"

Anyone remember the church confession scene in "THX-1138"?

I have to admit that it would be way cooler if, by wearing the helmet, other people thought YOU were God.

This has... nothing to do with God.

Though it may have something to do with neo-paganism.

Come on, if this was valid then anyone living near those huge towers with all the electric lines would see God all the time.

There has been some controversy about the God Helmet and its replication. Some say it hasn't been replicated, even though only one attempt was made and it seems to have been botched. Some skeptics talk about it it as though there were more than one. Now, it seems that the God Helmet has been vindicated, if only in part. It has been alleged that its effects are from suggestion or placebo, but this turns out to be nonsense. Here is a link to a new and independent study that confirms that the effects are real.
