The Korn Kobblers

Once upon a time, this was considered amusing.

I didn't find it funny but it was entertaining. I can respect any musician that do all of those shenanigans and still play a song. It definitely is corny!

I enjoyed that. Spike Jones and his City Slickers were the tops at this kind of spoof, parodies like "Cocktails for Two," or "You Always Hurt the One You Love" (complete with gunshots and screams).

I've loved the Korn Kobblers for years, especially their kiddie recordings:

johnross, we had the spike jones record with 'you always hurt the one you love' on it when i was a kid. when i read your reference i laughed out loud at the memory. i liked the race car one on the same record too 'vroom there he goes, vroom there he goes again, vroom vroom oh he went by twice!' it was a great record. both clips are cute too.

Sad to say that music videos haven't really gotten any better.

Spike Jones was a genius. I won a talent show lip synching to Chloe when I was a Cub Scout.
