I live in the carrot capital of the world, more carrots are grown here than anywhere else. I hate carrots too, vile orange roots of filth. They resemble satans turds and grow in sewage and decay. Somebody please take me away from here.

Looking over my shoulder the wife wanted to know, "Where is this place, in the US?" Unfortunately, it looks like it's only in the webasphere. On the interweb. Withing the tubes of knowledge.

I'm reminded of Cary Nosler, a local character from Central California, AKA "Captain Carrot". He is a fitness / nutrition kind of guy although he doesn't concentrate on the "POWER OF CARROTS!" (Echo effects intended here)

Love the things. Eat three or four daily--does wonderful things to keep away constipation (and leads to a condition we could call "carrot bottom" the opposite of "carrot top")

In 1974 Basil Brown was a health nut claiming the benifits of carrots and over-dosed on them.

BMN: I actually heard about this guy, drank 10 gallons of carrot juice over a period of 10 days or so and died of acute vitamin A poisoning. His liver shut down. See? I told you carrots are evil.

When I worked at the restaurant we used to get bags oh HUGE carrot, kinda reminded me of... UM never mind.
