German Mousetrap Museum

image

"This Museum was established in 1990 by the Heimatverein Neroth in the old School House to celebrate the mouse trap making cottage industry that had flourished in Neroth and nearby villages for over one hundred years."

Their German-language homepage.

And as a bonus, here is an incredible collection of mousetrap history books in PDF form.

The picture on that postcard looks a bit cheezy.

Interesting how we were able to eradicate smallpox (I've got my fingers crossed on that one) but can't seem to do the same for mice / rats. If I had my 'druthers, I'd have the housefly eradicated first, followed by pigeons which are just flying rats anyway.

And that was really bad, Expat. 😛
