If you make it through "Alien Soundtracks" then you need to hear "Half Machine Lip Moves" (perhaps Chrome's best album), and then the deeply disturbing "Read Only Memory" EP. From 1977 to 1983, Damon Edge and Helios Creed were the Lennon and McCartney of acid-damaged aural madness.

Absoulutly blew my mind as a kid. There was nothing like them at the time. Even the artwork got me.
I can see it not being everyone's cup o' tea, though.
