O. J. Wangen, Evil Paint Seller

It makes no difference whether you want your house painted or not; whether you want to use Sherwin-Williams or another brand; whether you plan to do it yourself or employ a different company. None of this counts in the face of O. J. Wangen's plan for world domination. "Let us have our way... We will have it, all or part of it in the end."

Almost as funny is the ad above it for Love, the Tailor that asks in big, bold letters "Want Good Clotles?". I'm not sure I'd know good clotles from bad ones, but a Google search reveals Clotles to be a kind of pharmaceutical, with a couple of businesses specializing in work or women's clotles and one person looking for a place to recycle old clotles.

Somebody got dinged for that one. Today it would have made national headlines and a whole host of lawyers would have been employed (for years) on both sides of the multi-million dollar suit.
